Canopy Types

All canopies can be supplied in either island or single sided configuration to suit the surrounding equipment, location or space restrictions.

RS Vents canopies are manufactured from 1.0mm 304 type stainless steel where all visible surface are fine grain satin polished to match other items of catering equipment.

All canopies are of a fully welded construction and include a full perimeter integrally formed channel with double angled lower edge for strength and safety. If joints are required they are formed by means of an internal standing seam with cover strip.

Each canopy is supplied with a full length grease filter housing and removable drawers. The filters are a baffle type which can be easily removed for cleaning.

When air make-up is supplied through the canopy a full length insulated plenum is incorporated inside the front face with stainless steel perforated plate diffusers on the outer face.

Lighting within the canopy is of fluorescent vapour type giving 500 lux at the working surface.

All fans and ductwork fitted comply with DW172 for kitchen ventilation systems.
